Cymbidium Orchid and Ladybugs Etched Dies S4-1363
I decided to combine the new beveled cardfronts with the orchid dies for this very fancy hello card. I even embossed the envelope! Have you ever embossed your envelopes? This was the first time I have done this and it won't be my last.

These embossed panels are so beautiful on their own so I chose to allow the design to be the focus, with simple letterpressed sentiments, kraft, and a bit of hemp twine. For the bottom card, I lightly dragged a gold pigment ink pad across the raised embossed designs then spritzed the panel with water. I used my microfiber cloth to dab the ink/water which created this very lovely organic look. I think spritzed both panels with gold shimmer mist which was difficult to capture.

World's Best Foam Tape - Double Thick
As soon as I saw this die set, I knew it needed to glow! I punctured a hole in the center of the main star and then used clear pop up adhesive to attach the tinier star. That way the light glows from behind the star on top. I think the effect is so lovely.

My final CAS (clean and simple) card design features these beautiful doves. I love the inclusion of 4 different sizes of birds and the ability to add large wings through the largest dove. There is even a die to turn this largest dove into an ornament.
