Yay! It's almost candy time! I received Skull and Cross Bun's newest holiday stencils and instantly thought they would be fun for Halloween as well! I used Elf Stockings Large Stencil and Stars and Sparkles Large Stencil for my card below.
To create the witch's legs, I scribbled Arteza brush markers in a dark plum-purple color onto the stencil for the stockings and black for the boots, avoiding the boot fringe. I completed the top of the boot and drew up the side of the stockings with the black brush marker, adding a shadow onto the legs with a grey marker. I die cut the "What's brewing?" die from my stash and added the witch's legs after fussy cutting them out. For the background, I layered some fun Halloween papers and stenciled on a few stars from the Stars and Sparkles stencil using a copper paste. I think this card turned out pretty fun!! See, those stencils that you think are ONLY for Christmas can truly be used for a bit more than you expected. Until next time.. don't fall in the pot! xo

Adorable! I love getting double duty from my holiday supplies. And the copper starts turned out really neat! I love that they are transparent.
