I am in LOVE with Sweet November's January release, exclusively at 7 Kids Crafts. I love fairies and little creatures, all of which are dressed for cooler, snuggly weather. I printed the images onto Canson Mix Media paper and watercolored with Arteza Real Brush Pens.
I decided to try something new for me--mixed media. While this attempt is very conservative, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I spritzed the canvas with shimmer mists, then layered glimmer paste through a stencil. After mixing up some snow (with added glitter), I stenciled over the background (again) for the snowfall, then added the snowy ground after mixing some fake plastic snow stuff (you know, in those plastic bags). I added Nora Northlight and Fergus the Fox along with a beautiful paper flower from Prima Marketing. I love how it turned out!!
