The new November release from Sweet November Home for the Holidays is now available exclusively at 7 Kids Crafting Supply Store. While the images this month are mainly family bearing gifts, I was drawn to Fairy Queen November. I obviously love fairies and this image is so beautiful. As expected, I wanted to use this beautiful autumn queen on a project that was not a card. So after much pondering (and asking Mama Kelly for ideas), I settled upon a luminary.
I colored this beauty with Copic markers and fussy cut her out. Using a treat bag die from Mama Elephant, I cut my bag from a beautiful glitzy gold cardstock, adding a "window" for the light to glow through using the heart die from the treat bag die set. I added the embossed gold framed panel to the lower portion of the bag, over the cut heart, and mounted the queen in all her glory off-center so her wand hit where the flickering tea light could be seen from within. The sentiment was from my stash and seemed fitting.
Yes, the luminary is simple, but I didn't want to add too many extras to distract from the simple beauty of the Fairy Queen and the soft flickering candle. Don't forget to join 7 Kids Customers Create! on Facebook to see the rest of the design team sistahs share their inspiration using this new release. Until next time.. spread kindness. xo
