Life has been super busy for me the last several months. If you follow me, maybe you've noticed a drastic drop in projects and blog posts. I still love creating but have had to shift focus a bit for personal reasons. BUT that doesn't mean I am not looking forward to creating more regularly again. I wanted to create a quick card for a friend and coworker and made this wee card to accompany my current (non-crafty) obsession, Eight Saints Island Time Body Spray Lotion, for her birthday. (It smells like coconut beachy summertime.)

I watercolored our slimy little snail and fussy cut him out. I love his expression! LOL Next, I took the scalloped layer from Jaded Blossom Slimline Dies and folded in half to make a smaller notecard. I lightly inked the front in whatever residual ink was left on my pink, yellow, and blue blending brushes with the confetti/sprinkle stencil from the La-La Land Crafts Celebration Layering Stencil Set. A bit of green was brushed onto the bottom and the sentiment was stamped in the upper right-ish corner. A bit of foam behind ole slimy finished the card!
