I happily scored some Lavinia during the restock at 7 Kids Crafting Supply Store. The images are so magical and dreamlike; I love them (and sadly don't play with them enough). But, today I share one card panel that I made immediately upon receiving this sitting mermaid.
I created this deep sea scene with various blue distress oxide inks using my Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Brushes. Those sun rays were created using their smaller brush (found in this smaller pack of brushes) with Mustard Seed and Picket Fence inks. I stamped the seaweed in both distress ink and VersaFine Clair ink, and stamped the jelly fish in Fantasia VersaFine Clair ink then embossed with clear powder. I added some colored pencil to her rocky sit and gold pen to her hair. A touch of white to the jellyfish and mermaid completed this dreamy underwater scene.

I love this creation! I saw it on the Cardmaking Tutorials blog. I have not used these inks before, but am really getting in to creating similar backgrounds and dearly love this one, so am planning to buy some of these inks! Thank you so much for sharing how you achieved this whole look!
