Happy May Fourth!!   

I wanted to create a quick, fun card in honor of this fun day using one of the three (yes!) Galactic Adventures stamp sets from Kindred Stamps.  As soon as I laid eyes on the hairy guy from Galactic Adventures: The Third, I knew he was the one.  NOTE: Any physical order today will get that Jedi stamp in my card photo below for FREE (until they run out)!!

I wanted to do a loose watercolor with the images, to keep them soft.  I sketched a heart with pencil on my top-folding A2 card base, then proceeded to fill the heart with that frowning bird guy using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.  After erasing the pencil lines, I added hearts and dots to fill in the heart shape.  On a scrap of paper, I stamped our hairy dude using the same VersaFine ink and then painted all the images using my distress inks.  I added my sentiment, a few strips of heart washi, and attached that beloved hairy giant with foam tape over all that bird critter love!
