I'm on the Crackerbox Stamps (affiliate links used throughout) blog today with a sweet Easter treat using the (currently on sale) Peek A Boo Pouches.
Supplies used:
Bunny Hug
Lucky Charms
Peek A Boo Pouches (on sale!)
I found a stitched square die in my stash that perfectly fit the 4.25" square of the Peek A Boo Pouches and die cut from patterned paper. Then, I cut a circle opening in both the patterned paper and pouch base, adding a scalloped border around the opening. I stamped the sentiment (released with our St. Patrick's Day stamps) first in Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink and then inked just the bottom line in Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink, layering over the pink to create the orange. I love that you can still see a peek of yellow about the letters, almost as if they glow.
To add in keeping the Peek A Boo Pouches stand tall and not arch a bit at the top, I cut just an 1/8" off of the inner part of the pouch that tucks beneath the flap. Otherwise, it makes the front of the pouch arch just forward. By removing just a sliver of the tucked side, it gives enough wiggle room so the pouch point stands perfectly straight.
