The Kindred Stamps September release is live and selling out fast! Childhood Friends and The Horror! are both on backorder but should ship by mid-October. I wanted to quickly show the three cards I created with the adorable smaller stamp set Llama Get This Straight from this release.
I used the fun tassel swap to create a rainbow of color as a simple background on this card. Catherine Pooler inks made it easy, only needing a single stamping for each color.
I used a basic tag die cut from glittery gold cardstock, stamping various sentiment bubbles from Tim Holtz onto the background using Catherine Pooler ink. The cactus border was stamped down the left side of the yellow card base using Eucalyptus ink from Catherine Pooler; the flowers were colored with a Copic marker. The word bubble die cut is from Doodlebug Designs. I added a layering of washi behind our fluffy llama and at the top of the stamped sentiment.
This final card was shared during release week. I created the watercolored scene using Altenew watercolors, aiming for a desert sunset. I selected papers from my stash that had a mid-western feel and layered them for a simple background. Naturally, I had to use the sentiment "Spit Happens".
