Today is day three of the sneak peeks for the April release with Kindred Stamps. Today, I am sharing a couple of projects using Seas the Day, an adorable stamp set featuring fun sea-themed sentiments and a pair of seahorses.
My goal with this collection of projects was to use paper from my stash. I stamped the seahorses on glitter paper and patterned papers, adding color with alcohol markers. I did have to heat emboss the images on the glitter cardstock to keep it from rubbing off. While hard to see above, I did use the Heart and Dots stencil both on the smallest kraft tag and over the patterned background of the card using Picket Fence Distress Oxide Ink. The effect is subtle but adds a little something extra. For those lacking confidence in coloring, there are plenty of ways to simply not color but create fun projects.
The tags below are my favorite.
