The January Kindred Stamps release is nearly here -- everything will be available Friday at 8am EST/11am PST! Several of the design team and creative team members were at Creativation this past week so release was pushed back this month. But it will be worth the wait! Today, I present Let Us Eat Cake, full of fun birthday sentiments and some silly others. Everyone needs an 18th century lady in their stash, right?
The foiling in the card below was a bit hard to capture fully, but this card feels a bit regal to me. (At least that is what I was going for.. lol) I colored the above lady with watercolor markers and the image below with Copic markers, for comparison.
Naturally, I had to create a treat box, this one resembling a slice of cake. I used the Sprinkles Stencil for a bit of fun on the sides, after adding a layer of pink watercolor frosting.
The entire Kindred Stamps January release will be available Friday, January 25th at 8am PST/11am EST. Be sure to check out the Kindred Stamps blog on Friday for the full product release as well as the complete line up of all the Kindred Stamps Design Team projects from release week! If you visit and comment on all of the designers' blogs this week, you could win $15 in Kindred Stamps shop credit! So join the Fan Club and release event, show the design team some love, and get ready to empty those wallets this Friday!

This character needs little else but to stand there! Love the variety you used her in! She ‘takes the cake’ in my book and your designs helped her be Her Regal self! :)
Super cute cards! Just love the cake box idea! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome idea for the cake box!
You nailed all these projects! Love the colors and textures! By the way, I have that cupcake paper. 😉
Fabulous work on all of your projects! I am loving that cake slice project!!
