Welcome to the start of the March Challenge with Jaded Blossom. This month the theme is Anything Goes! I created a set of St. Patrick's Day treat bags for inspiration. I think these little monsters may be my new favorite images. Granted, I did decide to pull in the leprechaun and little gnome for good measure. I love curving the sentiments to fit along the curve of the Paper Bag. I stamped all sentiments with VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis, including the sentiment on the back of the bag. The wee leprechaun was stamped with VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. To create such crisp black lines in my colored images, I first stamp in alcohol-friendly ink, color with my Spectrum Noir markers, then stamp again with VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. What a difference!! I actually left the images right in my MISTI stamp platform when coloring since I stamp onto some scraps of paper (and have had problems not getting those bits exactly back in the corners for my second outline stamping -- booo).
Spectrum Noir TriBlends used: Light Green Blend, Gold Brown Blend, Light Yellow Blend, Fair Skin Blend, Antique Pink Blend, Ice Grey Blend, and Ice Grey Shades
The Mesh Stencil was inked with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink only on the front of the bag. Which bag is your favorite? I do like them all, but those wee monsters make me giggle.
