The crazy crew is back from the holidays with another fun blog hop. We kick off our next hop, What To Do When You Hibernate, today with Valentines, Galentines, all the Tines! I created this pair of adorable valentines for my daughters using the ever so adorable Cupid In Training from Jaded Blossom.
I colored them with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and made these treat pouches by die-cutting two metallic silver hearts and attaching with "hinges" of folded paper, along the sides (instead of just gluing the edges together). The "hinge" is merely a scrap of the silver cardstock cut in a strip and folded in half. The flaps were secured on the inside of the hearts with Scor-tape.
The "hinges" allow more give to the heart pouches and provide just enough space for a fun size candy inside. I'm linking this to the current Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge: Color Challenge (Pink, Grey, Black) as well. Also entered into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog: Love.
