I purchased Neat & Tangled's adorable Little Monster stamp set some time ago, and had yet to play with it. So, the newest Crafty Doodle Chick's Paw-Fect Challenge #3 was the perfect motivation to pull it out.
This challenge is "All About the Girls" and I decided to use those deliciously wonderful warm sherbet shades of yellow, orange, and melon. I colored the monster, balloon, and "monster" word with Copic Markers and ink blended a large circle with a self made mask to create a clean and simple card. I heat embossed the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the set randomly over the inked circle then misted with water for more interest. I added wee dots of white to her eyes and to whiten up her teeth. Then I just assembled, stamping "you little" over the colored "monster" word, and adding glossy accents to the eyes, nose, and balloon. I did sprinkle a bit of Nuvo glitter on the balloon while the glossy accents was wet for a bit more fun.
And that was it! I love the simplicity of the card and the summery warm colors!
Isn't this little lady adorable?! She's just the sweetest little monster! Be sure to join the Crafty Doodle Chick Chat & Create Facebook group for fun chatter and play along in her monthly challenges! Jennifer is just the sweetest!
Until next time, friends.. xo

I love this card. The idea of stamping the happy Birthday in the circle is so clever. I never would have thought Of that.
