What a fun opportunity our Kindred Stamps design team was given!! We are collaborating with Therm O Web this week, and both teams have created some amazing projects!! I want to share a couple of my own projects today--a tote and t-shirt for my daughter.
I printed these two book bearing girls and the sentiment onto the transfer paper then colored with my Copic markers!! Yes! How cool?! Note: Copic markers do NOT blend on the transfer paper, and too much inking over an area will wear through the iron-on surface. I ended up with a wee hole in one cheek that I had to correct after ironing on the image (hence, the darker "flush" to her cheek).
For the tote, I printed the Tower and colored with my Copic markers. After ironing onto the canvas tote (a laborious process), I stenciled the forest using the TOW Metallix gel mixed with some green pigment powder and (attempted to) stenciled the stars using the DecoFoil adhesive. It didn't work the way I'd hoped, but did create a star outline that worked well enough.
