Clean and Simple Pencil on Kraft

I am (finally) getting around to use the 7 Kids Crafting Supply Store's vendor of the month, Dreamerland Crafts.  I absolutely adore these sweet images and have been hoarding a handful of these stamps.  To keep the focus on the sweet characters, I kept it clean and simple.

I stamped the images and sentiments with VersaFine ink and colored with colored pencils on kraft cardstock.  It was challenging for me to find the right skin combination so they would pop enough against the kraft but not look like a ghost.  BUT I am also not as comfortable with colored pencils and have missed working with this medium.
