Beth Duff Designs first release with Manatees!

Thank you for joining Beth Duff Designs's very first release!!

This blog hop is full of amazing inspiration using any one of the 8 sets releasing Sunday in bundles, or Monday as individual sets.  I am the last stop on the hop; make sure you visit the others (links below) if you came to the Fairy first.  I was so happy to work with the Get Kids Crafty exclusive set, Manatee Love.  The images are adorable!  Do not forget to visit the BDD blog to download a FREE companion set of manatee images for her latest challenge.  They match the physical stamp set perfectly, unfortunately, there wasn't enough room for all of them on the 4"x6" set.

I decided to color these sweet manatees a purple-grey with some brown shadows and splotches.  :)  I try to use more realistic color tones with my images and thought these would be different enough from my fellow creative team members.

I used the following Copic colors for my manatees:  

BV02 BV23 E71 E25 E04

I won't go into too much detail for each of the cards, since there is a bit of variety in styles, but if you have specific questions (or just want to leave some love), please comment below.

The card below was made using the free Mindful Manatee download from the BDD blog.  The sentiment is from the stamp set, as well as the seaweed.  The jellyfish is from a free digital background image released to creative team applicants.  (I think I love how this guy colored up the most.)

These snuggly manatees would be perfect for Mothers or Fathers Day!  Sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's Mom and Me.  The fun thing about die cut inlay is that you get two backgrounds!
